OUR MISSION

Bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world practice.

We deliver evidence-informed training, ethical guidance, and professional development opportunities that strengthen clinical competence, support regulatory compliance, and ultimately improve client care.

FOUNDER AND PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR

Candice Fuimaono, MS, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT #140872

Candice Fuimaono is a licensed therapist, clinical supervisor, educator, and founder of Clinical Training and Supervision Academy.

She earned her Master of Science in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy and has worked across community mental health, crisis residential treatment, telehealth, private practice, clinical assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and clinical supervision.

Before becoming a licensed therapist, Candice spent more than a decade in leadership, compliance, training, and records-management roles with California State Parks, overseeing regulatory initiatives, personnel training, and operational auditing.

CTA brings those two perspectives together: the human complexity of clinical care and the operational discipline required for ethical, compliant professional practice.

WHY CTA WAS CREATED

Clinicians need more than information. They need usable judgment.

Many professional trainings explain rules without showing how those rules affect documentation, boundaries, crisis response, informed consent, supervision, or everyday decision-making.

CTA courses are designed to help clinicians translate standards into structured action—through scenarios, workflows, templates, checklists, and reflective application.
